Code of Conduct

Welcome to Northwood Commons. To make your visit and that of your fellow visitors more pleasant, we kindly ask that you do not engage in any of the following conduct while on Center property. Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in your expulsion from the center or further actions.


  1. Violating any federal, state or local laws.
  2. Fighting, “horseplay,” or performing any action that could result in a substantial risk of physical harm to persons or property.
  3. Threatening or harassing any person.
  4. Any improper use of center amenities.
  5. Yelling, profanity, screaming, playing loud music, or similar behavior that creates noise of such volume to interfere with the hearing or peace of the general public.
  6. Roller-skating, hoverboarding, skateboarding, bicycling, riding a scooter, or any action that interferes with the free flow of traffic in the Center or surrounding areas.
  7. Standing or walking in such a way as to cause inconvenience to others.
  8. Littering, throwing, discarding, or depositing paper, glass, or matter of any kind anywhere except in designated trash receptacles.
  9. Defacing, damaging, or destroying any real estate or personal property that is part of or located in or on the Center.
  10. All animals, other than Service Animals, are prohibited, except where otherwise specifically permitted.
  11. Engaging in protests, petitioning, or solicitations for any reason.
  12. Distributing commercial advertising of any kind, conducting surveys, offering samples, or actually selling products without prior approval from Center management.
  13. Wearing no shirt or footwear, or any attire deemed inappropriate. Such as wearing bandanas, or provocative, or racially offensive clothing
  14. Sitting on floors, stairs, planters, trash receptacles, retail merchandising units, staged areas, or curbs.
  15. Possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages or illegal substances or using tobacco products.
  16. Possessing weapons, explosives or incendiary devices of any kind, including but not limited to firearms, knives, and fireworks.
  17. Entering any area of the Center not open to the public.
  18. Loitering or sleeping in any area of the property.
  19. Videotaping and/or photography for broadcast, commercial, or personal purposes without the prior written approval from Center management.
  20. Being intoxicated, inebriated, and/or possessing or being under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substance.
  21. Gang activity, including but not limited to, the use of gang symbols, slogans, or gang colored clothing.
  22. Engaging in any sexual activity, including but not limited to, using sexually explicit language, engaging in sexual conduct, or engaging in excessive public displays of affection.
